Guys,
I have along with Dhruvit managed to set up Apache+PHP+MySQL however they are yet to speak to each other. Obviously, Apache and PHP are working since I can access PHP based pages but MySQL is yet to be connected.
So, will keep you guys updated.

Note: Will need to spend sometime this weekend to get it up and running. I guess it shouldn't be a big deal to set it up. And if for some reason it doesn't work out then I have got a mass mailer PHP Script which we shall use to implement Mass-Mailer but then its not so pretty so it remains as a backup.
